Upholstery and Fabric covers
Day to Day cleaning
Padding should be wiped regularly with soapy water or antibacterial spray.
Please dry covering material thoroughly after wiping.
Deep cleaning
Fabric covers can be machine washed at 40°C (104°F) - or on
the warm water setting. Remove the foam from the covers
before washing the covers.
To remove thoracic support covers, undo the two screws (A) rst and detach
the complete support. Remove the covers from the moulded foam. Store the
fasteners in a safe place and out of reach from children.
To remove the backrest cover, the shoulder straps need to be removed rst. Lift
the cam lock buckle (B) at the rear of the backrest and pull the strap through
the padding.
The 5 point harness, pelvic straps, foot straps and sternum jacket can also be
machined washed at 40°C (104°F) or on the warm water setting. Ensure the
straps are retted as instructed in this manual under the Accessories: 5 Point
Harness & Pelvic Straps section.
Store the plastic triglides (as shown in image at right) in a safe place
and out of reach from children.
Day to Day cleaning
Metalwork, plastic and wooden parts can be wiped with soapy water or
antibacterial spray. Please dry the product thoroughly. Do NOT use solvents,
abrasive cleaners, caustic soda, sodium hypochlorite and organic solvents.
Deep cleaning
For deep cleaning a low pressure steam cleaner can be also be used. We
recommend that the Verve Stroller wheels and Launcher Base casters are
cleaned on a 6-monthly basis.
