Connecting the Aerial
In order to receive a digital signal with the USB DVB-T TV tuner, connect the aerial
supplied with the notebook.
To connect to your house antenna, use the adapter cable supplied (a short cable).
Attention!
Pull the antenna out when the device is not being used, particularly
during bad weather. This protects your device from lightning.
Please note:
If the USB DVB-T TV tuner does not operate normally due to an
electrostatic discharge, faulty data exchange or other error, please
carefully disconnect the DVB-T aerial or cable from the USB DVB-T TV
tuner and reconnect it.
The Express Card 54 DVB-T Tuner Operation
Your Express Card 54 DVB-T tuner supplied with the device has a DVB-T aerial
connection and an on/off switch. The Express Card 54 DVB-T Tuner fits into the
Express Card slot of your notebook.
When turned on, the LED on the Express Card 54 DVB-T tuner lights up in blue.
When not in use and to conserve electricity, move the switch on the Express
Card 54 DVB-T tuner to the left the LED goes out. The Express Card 54 DVB-T tuner
can remain in the device and does not have to be removed. Turn on the Express
Card 54 DVB-T tuner again when you want to use the TV function.
Note
The Express Card 54 DVB-T tuner only fits into an Express Card/54
slot. Do not put the card into any similar slots. That could lead to
damage to the notebook or the Express Card 54 DVB-T tuner.
