7.2.5 Work on unpaved surfaces
There is an increased danger when working on unpaved surfaces. Before
commencing work, make sure that the surface can take the load. Hum-
mus, gravel, stones, shale etc., have extremely varied characteristics that
requires a great deal of experience on the part of the machine operator. If in
doubt use suitable auxiliary equipment such as, e.g. cable winch, to secure
the machine.
7.2.6 Work in water
Work in water may only be carried out with the greatest of care. You can
often not see the oor under the water, so the surface must be scanned
carefully and exactly. Only work in water when you are acquainted with the
machine. Only immerse the machine in water at maximum to top edge of
swivel bases.
7.2.7 Work with attachments
Only install attachments intended and suitable for the size of the machine.
Oversized attachment impair performance and safety. Observe the additio-
nal instructions of the manufacturer of the attachment.
