  The starter motor might not crank the engine or crank slowly due to several reasons. It could be a turned-off battery switch (turn it on), the remote control not being in the neutral position (position the control lever in neutral), an open circuit breaker or blown fuse (check and reset the circuit breaker or replace the fuse), loose or dirty electrical connections or damaged wiring (check and clean all electrical connections and wires, especially battery cables, and tighten any faulty connections), or a bad battery (test and replace if necessary).
