6.15 Removing the convection fan motor speed controller (VFD).
Component.
Requirements.
Check that the following requirements have been met:
▪ The appliance has been disconnected from the power supply and protective
measures have been taken to ensure the power cannot be switched on again.
▪ The appliance is cool.
▪ All casing of the appliance is removed.
▪ The high voltage capacitors are discharged before commencing work.
▪ Anti-static precautions have been taken.
Tools required.
M7 hex socket wrench
Torque wrench
Removing/fitting the convection fan motor speed controller.
1. Unfasten the two M7 hex head flange nuts.
2. Unplug all the electric cables.
3. Refit in reverse order, reconnecting the cables to the convection fan motor speed controller and fixing the bracket
to the base plate, torqued to 2.1Nm.
4. Ensure the wiring of the speed controller is in accordance with the diagram shown.
Note: Ensure the replacement board does not have a jumper (link) fitted to the J5 position.
