iv. Once the panel appears to be in the right position, release
the aluminum gear knob or push the gear into the center (2)
while jiggling the solar panel (1) to allow it to move freely.
You may need to push the aluminum gear knob until the
gear is shifted into the center of the mount. The panel angle
should now be locked.
v. The gear mechanism may bind up due to the weight of the
solar panel preloading the ribbon before it can be locked. To
overcome this binding, hold the end of the solar panel and
jiggle it vertically while applying pressure to the knob to lock
it into place.
