b. Attaching onto the mount
i. While holding the panel
with one hand, use your
free hand to press the
closest silver gear knob
until it completely
touches the mount to
unlock the gear and
allow it to spin freely.
Ensure the ribbon is
being fed between the
gear and turn the knob to
engage it.
ii. Push the flat steel solar
lock flush to the panel,
closing the angle lock
around the solar panel
axle so that it can rotate
but is captive.
iii. Feed as much of the
ribbon through the gear
mechanism to secure it.
Lift the solar panel,
rotating it around the
axle, until the
predetermined solar
angle has been set.
