11. Troubleshooting
a. Debugging your node
If there is an issue with installing or
deploying your S618, troubleshooting
may be necessary. In addition to this
manual, Mesh++ offers an interactive web
tool to help with the process at

i. Each known issue has a number of
solution steps that should be completed in order to ensure
all options have been exercised before contacting us.
ii. Troubleshooting should be attempted prior to installation in
the rare instance that there are immediate issues. If a node
starts to have issues during its deployment, we recommend
pausing network usage until the issue is resolved.
iii. If these steps do not resolve an issue, please feel encouraged
to start an inquiry via email at: info@meshplusplus.com
b. Mobile app diagnostics
A helpful troubleshooting resource for deployed nodes is the
Diagnostic Log reachable via stable Bluetooth connection to it.
Bluetooth firmware version v2.1 or higher is required to be
installed on the node to use this function. For general mobile
app usage, please visit section 5 - Creating Your Network.
i. To verify that a node’s Bluetooth firmware is up to date,
search for its MAC address through the search tab of the
mobile app. Ensure that you are within 3 m (10 ft).
ii. Once found, select node’s MAC address to connect to it. Tap
Setup this Node to navigate to the node’s main options list.
iii. Tap the About button for more advanced options and
detailed information about the node.
1. Hardware Version: this should be consistent with the part
number in section 2 - Part Number Decoder .
2. Firmware Version: the node’s Bluetooth firmware version
