N-type connectors and
antennas. Align the first
antenna on the left
N-type connector. Push it
onto the connector and
turn the knurled section
on the antenna clockwise
to thread it on. The
threads should be fully
engaged and should turn
smoothly. Before fully
tightening, ensure that
the antenna is pointing
up towards the sky.
iii. Repeat the previous step
for the second antenna
on the right N-type
connector, except instead
of the antenna pointing
upwards, it should point
downwards towards
ground level.
iv. Alternatively, the N-type
connections can be used
for a directional dish
antenna or any other
specialty antenna that
operates at 2.4/5GHz. If
one is being used, its final
positioning and
orientation may vary.
