Thesystemswitchislocatedontheentertainmentdisplay,
andthesystemcanbeturnedon/offintheappropriate
DriverAssistanceinterface.
Whenthefollowingconditionsaremet:
•Intelligentcruiseassistsystem(ICA)isselectedfor
intelligentdrivingontheentertainmentdisplay;
•Thesystemdetectsthelanelinesonbothsidesofthe
vehicle;
•ThevehicleisinDrivegear.
AshortpressonthePilotswitchactivatestheintelligent
cruiseassistsystem.Theintelligentcruiseassistsystem
worksonthebasisoftheadaptivecruisecontrolsystem.
Ifthelanelinesaheadonbothsidesareclear,thesystem
willassistthevehicleindrivingwithinthelanelines;atlow
speeds,ifthereareothervehiclesaheadandthelanelines
arenotclear ,thesystemcanassistthevehicleinfollowing
thetrackofthevehicleahead.
Note:WhenACCisactiveandtheaboveconditions
aremet,theintelligentcruiseassistsystemcanbe
activatedwithoutpressingthePilotswitch.
Whenthesystemdetectsthatthedriverhasnotcontrolled
thesteeringwheelinacertainperiodoftime,itwillgive
warningstopromptthedriver .
