B.4 Special Conditions
1. The equipment has been assessed with a U
m
of 28V and shall be installed
in accordance with the latest installation requirements of IEC/EN 60079-
14 for intrinsically safe equipment for EPL “Gb”.
2. The transmitter shall not be installed in such a manner that the sensing
probe is in a dust environment.
3. WARNING - POTENTIAL ELECTROSTATIC CHARGING HAZARD. The
equipment must only be wiped with a damp cloth.
4. When installing the transmitter a torque of 10 Nm must be applied to the
sensor body/housing positioning lock nut to secure it. See manufacturer’s
instructions for further details.
B.5 Maintenance and Installation
The Easidew PRO XP must only be installed by suitably quali ed personnel and in
accordance with the instructions provided and the terms of the applicable product
certi cates.
Maintenance and servicing of the product must only be carried out by suitably trained
personnel or returned to an approved Michell Instruments’ Service Center.
