6.0 Configuration
Flow Control
Values
Flow control may be used to enhance the reliability of serial data
communications, particularly at higher baud rates. If the attached
device does not support hardware handshaking, leave this setting
at the default value of ‗None‘.
When CTS Framing is selected, the IP Series uses the CTS signal
to gate the output data on the serial port. Figure 6A below
illustrates the timing of framed output data.
