Function Description
If an address cannot be determined, the system requests an address.
Press Alt +CLEAR to cancel the operation and return to the Reload
prompt. Either contact your ITdepartment for assistance or use the
Specify option.
IPAddress, Subnet
Mask, and Gateway
Use to specify a user supplied IP address. Enter the numerical
IPaddress (include periods) [nnn.nnn.nnn.nnn].
Enter the subnet Mask number using the same format as the
IPaddress.
The Gateway address is used for communicating outside of a local
network. This address is often the same as the instrument’s IP
address with a 1 after the last dot instead of the last three characters
[nnn.nnn.nnn.1]. Enter the Gateway address.
