Liquid cleaning agent is dispensed from an
external media canister via a suction wand.
Depending on the model, liquid cleaning
agent is dispensed either via an internal dis-
penser pump or via an external dispenser
module. Dispenser modules are installed by
Miele Customer Service and can be retrofit-
ted at any time.
Refill indicator
When the fill level in the cleaning agent can-
ister is low, you are reminded to change the
media canister.


Change cleaning agent canister.
Empty status detected.
 Confirm the prompt with OK and change
the cleaning agent canister.
 Fill the dispensing path (see “Machine
functions”)
Replacing the media canister
 Place the liquid cleaning agent container
(note the color marking) on the open wash
cabinet door or on a surface which is ro-
bust and easy to clean.
 Take the lid off the canister and remove
the suction wand. Place the suction wand
on the open wash cabinet door.
 Replace the empty container with a full
one.
 Push the suction wand into the opening of
the container and secure the lid. Observe
the color coding.
 Feed the suction lance into the container
until it reaches the bottom.
 If you use a long suction lance in a 5litre
canister, or the 10litre canister is only half
full, the following prompt appears in the
display:


select current canister volume.

 Select the canister size.
 Wipe up any spilled process chemical
thoroughly.
