It is recommended
- When purchasing new dishware and cut-
lery, make sure they are dishwasher-safe
if you want to wash them in the dish-
washer.
- Clouding may occur on glasses after fre-
quent rinses in the dishwasher. When
washing delicate glasses in the dish-
washer, ensure that only a special glass-
care program with very low temperatures
(see “Program overview”) is selected and
that a suitable cleaning agent is used.
This will reduce the risk of clouding.
Please note:
Silver and aluminum which has been in
contact with foods containing sulfur can
discolor.
Risk due to chemical reaction
Aluminum components (e.g., grease fil-
ters) must not be cleaned in the dish-
washer with caustic alkaline commercial
or industrial cleaning agents.
These may damage the material. In ex-
treme cases, there is a risk of an explo-
sive chemical reaction (such as an explo-
sive oxyhydrogen gas reaction).
Do not clean pretreated aluminum com-
ponents in the dishwasher.
