Opening the door and drain valve in an emergency
Power failure dur-
ing the washing
process
Switch the machine off.
Switch off at the on-site mains electricity switch.
Close the supply valves for water or steam.
To remove the laundry, first the drain valve must be opened manu-
ally and then the drum door manually unlocked.
Insert a spanner (max. wrench size SW10/11) through the slot on
the back of the machine.
Open the drain valve by pressing the lever behind the back panel of
the machine.
Keep pressing on the lever until the suds have drained away com-
pletely.
The suds will drain away.
The emergency drain closes automatically when the spanner is re-
moved from the slot.
