Press the key.
• Start the pattern printing.
• Multiple test patterns are printed. (The printed
patterns are called Pattern 1, Pattern 2, Pattern
3... in the order of printing.)

Press to enter a correction
value of Pattern 1, and then press the
key.
• Corrected feeding rate: -40 to 40
• Check the test patterns. The position where an
outward feeding line and a return feeding line
become one straight line is the correction value.
• When the correction value in not between -40 and
40, adjust the height of the printing heads and
then perform the operations in Step 2 and later.

In the same way as in Step 4, enter a
correction value of Pattern 2 and later, and
then press the key.

Press the key several times
to end the setting.
Setting the HEATER
Pre-heater /Print heater / Post-heater are equipped on the
platen.

Press the (MENU) key
in LOCAL.
• SETUP MENU will be displayed.

Press twice, and then press the
key.
• “HEATER” will be selected.

Set each heater temperature by pressing

• Heater selecting :by the [][] keys
• Temperature setting :by the [][] keys

Press the key several times
to end the setting.
Setting of Logical Seek
The head’s operation varies depending on the LOGICAL
SEEK settings, as shown in the figure below.

• Set value : HOST / ON / OFF

Type of HEATER
Function
Pre-heater
Used for pre-heating of the media prior to
printing to prevent rapid temperature changing.
Print-heater Improves the image quality in printing.
Post-heater Dries ink after printing.
• press [FUNC3] (off) in Step 3 to turn all heaters
OFF.
or, press [FUNC1] to raise all heaters by 10°C.
