Opening Combics Indicators
Important note!

An insulating transformer must be installed upstream when working on an
opened Combics indicator under power.
t Ten nuts (see left image) must be removed to open the Combics indicator.
Replacing the Seal
Important!

After carrying out any repair, the seal between the front plate and the housing
must be checked visually for damage and replaced if necessary.
After closing, a special test procedure is used to check the degree of protection
for devices that guarantee an IP degree of protection.
t Replace a defective seal.
y The seal must be seated properly and should not be cracked.
