Activating the Service mode for Combics CAIS3, CAISL3
t Switch on Combics (e key).
y The scale is now in an application program (i.e. "Weighing" application, the example
shows the "Counting" application).
t Enter the service password via the decimal keypad and confirm with the M key.
Important!

The number shown in the figure is not identical to the service password.
y The device is now in Service mode. The letter S is displayed on the right in the Setup
menu header.
The Setup menu has been expanded along with the User menu.
To view or change device parameters in Setup mode:
t Select the "Device parameters" menu, open the menu, press the > key.
y The "Device parameters" sub menu opens.
t Select and open the desired menu item of the next lowest level. Repeat this procedure
until the desired menu item in the lowest menu level can be opened. View the menu item,
change if necessary (confirm with the > soft key) and return to the highest level of the
Setup menu via the < soft key (press several times if necessary).
