2.3 I/O Number Assignment
2.3 I/O Number Assignment
The I/O number indicates addresses used for sequence programs in the following cases.
Input of on/off data to the CPU module
Output of on/off data from the CPU module to the external device
(1) Input and output of on/off data
The input (X) is used to input on/off data to the CPU module, and the output (Y) is used to output on/off data from
the CPU module.
(2) I/O number representation
The I/O numbers are represented in hexadecimal. When a 16-point I/O module is used, the I/O number for each
slot will be 16 point-sequence number from 
0 to  F as shown in the following figure. "X" and "Y" is
prefixed to the I/O number of input modules and the I/O number of output modules, respectively.
