3 Installation onto the Machine Main Unit

Move the dial indicator to near the intermediate support and check the parallelism of the scale main
unit against the machine guide.

3.2.3 Fully Fixing the Scale Main Unit

After checking and adjusting the parallelism of the scale main unit, fully tighten the xing screws on the
scale.
• When the intermediate support is used, tighten the xing screws on the support as well.
• The tightening torque for xing screws is as follows:
- M4 screw (for xing at multiple points and intermediate support): 3 N•m
- M6 screw (for xing at both ends) 9 N•m
