1 [ ∇ ]
Press the low-speed movement key to bring the spindle
into contact with a workpiece. The spindle moves only
while the key is held down.
The moving speed with the [ ∇ ] key can be selected
from 4mm/s and 2mm/s by setting P. No.37.
2 Press [ZERO] key.
The origin is set at the origin position.
Check the “0” display at the origin position several times.

Press [ ∇ ] to bring
the
spindle into contact with
a workpiece.
The WORK indicator lights up.
When the spindle comes in contact with a workpiece, the
WORK indicator lights up and the measurement is
ready. Read out the measurement value when it
becomes stable.
After the WORK indicator lights up, the spindle traces
the movement of the workpiece even if the [ ∇ ] key is
released. If the workpiece moves exceeding the spindle
trace speed, the WORK indicator flashes.

Press [ ∆
] to separate the
spindle from a workpiece.
Press the [ ∆
] key to exit the trace mode.
IMORTANT
●Do not use high-speed movement key when the spindle comes in contact with a workpiece.
●When taking measurement, be sure to contact with the workpiece by using the [ ∇ ] key to measure and press the
[ ∇ ] key until the WORK lump I lights up. The measurement value is the value when the WORK lump lights up.
(5) Peak mode setup:Select the display value from among the maximum value, minimum value, total
indicator reading (TIR: Max. – Min.), and current value(NOM).

(6) Clearing the peak value
If the peak mode is set to MAX, MIN, or TIR, the peak value can be cleared according to the following
procedure.

• In the MAX mode: the current value is displayed.
• In the MIN mode: the current value is displayed.

(7) Clearing an error
