6.5.13 Time source
Time source configuration: '2 Configuration 2 Time handling 2 Local time source
settings':
1. Source type: 0=none, 1=DCF, 2=local, 3=serial
(serial only in connection with NMEA)
2. Time zone of the source: see chapter “6.5.28 Time zone selection“)
3. DCF/GPS source correction: (-60000ms..+60000ms)
4. Alarm delay at failure of time source (minutes):
0 = off, 1 – 2'160min, default = 0
Error: “Failure time source TO“
5. Synch. only offset: 0=off
100 - 5000ms= Limits as from which time is no longer
accepted Alarm “Syn only diff too large“
6. Fix stratum: 0=Stratum is calculated automatically on the basis of the
time source
1 - 15=Stratum of the DTS 480x is set by means of the
description in the table in chapter “8.3 Fix stratum for
local time source”
7. Stratum TO (Timeout) (0-16) DCF/GPS fail:
Duration of stratum change 1 to 16 in the case of time loss (1-999h),
e.g. 24 hrs after DCF/GPS time source failed, stratum counts up from 1 to 16
within 24 hrs
Default value: 12h
