Lock-up
After the machine is shut-down it is important for safety and security reasons to follow the lock-out procedure in the Safety section. The following
components must be locked at the end of each work period:
Engine control panel
Battery box
Tool box
If you are towing the machine, be sure the hitch is properly secured to the towing vehicle and that the taillights are working. If you are not towing
the machine, its best to remove the battery and any other essential electrical components and store them off site.
Clean-up
When cleaning the work site, ensure all debris is away from machine before towing.
Be sure the infeed is clear of all debris before transporting the machine. Loose debris, especially large pieces, in the infeed can dislodge and
cause damage to vehicles behind the towed chipper.
