Enable Interface Tracking
Enable
Select the Enable checkbox to enable the interf ace tracking
Enabled
Disable
Deselect the Enable checkbox to disable the interface tracking
entry.
Tracking ID
The tracking ID of the interf ace tracking entry.
NOTE
The tracking ID has to be unique.
Interface Type
The type of the monitored interface.
NOTE
The port cannot be modified if the conf iguration is applied.
Port / VID
All the existing layer 3
interfaces
The monitored interface. The first port
Interval (ms)
100 to 100,000 ms
The interval that the interf ace tracking checks the status of
the monitored port or layer 3 interface.
1,000 ms
Up Delay (ms)
0 to 100,000 ms
The threshold that the status of interf ace tracking changes
f rom down to up when the status of the monitored port or
layer 3 interface is greater than or equal to the up delay.
1,000 ms
If the Up Delay is 0 ms, then the status of the interface tracking changes immediately when the status of a
monitored interf ace changes f rom down to up. On the other hand, if the Up Delay is 100,000 ms, then the
status of the interf ace tracking entry would never change f rom down to up.
Down Delay (ms)
0 to 100,000 ms
The threshold that the status of interf ace tracking changes
f rom up to down when the status of the monitored port or
layer 3 interf ace is down greater than or equal to the down
delay.
1,000 ms
If the Down Delay is 0 ms, then the status of interf ace tracking changes immediately when the status of a
monitored interf ace changes f rom up to down. On the other hand, if the Down Delay is 100,000 ms, then
the status of the interf ace tracking entry never changes f rom up to down.
