Firmware Upgrade
There are three ways to update your Moxa switch’s firmware: from a local *.rom file, by remote TFTP
server, and with Auto Backup Conf igurator (ABC-02).
Local
1. Download the updated firmware (*.rom) file from Moxa’s website (www.moxa.com).
2. Browse for the (*.rom) f ile, and then click the Upgrade button
TFTP Server
1. Enter the TFTP Server’s IP address.
2. Input the f irmware f ile name (*.rom) and click the Upgrade button.
Auto Backup Configurator (ABC-02)
1. Download the updated firmware (*.rom) file from Moxa’s website (www.moxa.com).
2. Save the file to the ABC-02’s Moxa folder. The file name cannot be longer than 8 characters, and the
f ile extension must be .rom.
3. Browse for the firmware (*.rom) f ile from the ABC-02, and then click the Upgrade button.
