Performing an ABR Screening Echo-Screen III Pro Instructions for Use
8 When the test completes, the Pass or Refer result and test details are displayed.
For DPOAE+ tests, touch 65/55 dBSPL and then touch 55/45 dBSPL to see results for
both test levels.
If the result is Refer, it is recommended that you rescreen the patient.
9 Touch Screen Opposite Ear. Insert the probe in the other ear, and touch Continue to
repeat the process.
10 Clean the OAE probe and cable after each use.
Performing an ABR Screening
WARNING Never leave a patient unattended while the patient is connected to the device.
CAUTION Make sure that the cables are not wrapped around any part of the device and that the
cables are separated and untangled while performing a screening. These conditions
might result in inaccurate screening results.
