Switchingthedisplayedimagesmoothly[SEAMLESSSWITCHING]
When the input connector is switched, the image displayed before switching is held to switch to
the new image without a break due to absence of a signal.
SelectingFanMode[FANMODE]
[FAN MODE] is used to set the speed of the internal cooling fan.
AUTO Thebuilt-infansautomaticallyrunatavariablespeedaccordingtotheinternaltemperature.
HIGHALTITUDE Thebuilt-infansrunatahighspeed.Selectthisoptionwhenusingtheprojectorataltitudes
approximately5200feet/1600metersorhigher.
NOTE:
• Set[FANMODE]to[HIGHALTITUDE]whenusingtheprojectorataltitudesapproximately5200feet/1600metersorhigher.
• Usingtheprojectorataltitudesapproximately5200feet/1600metersorhigherwithoutsettingto[HIGHALTITUDE]cancausethe
projectortooverheatandtheprotectorcouldshutdown.Ifthishappens,waitacoupleminutesandturnontheprojector.
• Usingtheprojectorataltitudesapproximately5200feet/1600metersorhighercanshortenthelifeofopticalcomponentssuch
asthelightmodule.
• Yoursettingwillnotbeaectedevenwhen[RESET]isdonefromthemenu.
SelectingSignalFormat[SIGNALSELECT]
This selects the signal to be input in the COMPUTER IN Terminal. Normally, this is set to [RGB/COM-
PONENT]. Change the setting if the color of the picture is unnatural.

EnablingorDisablingWXGAMode[WXGAMODE]
Selecting [ON] will give priority to WXGA (1280 × 768)/WUXGA (1920 × 1200) signals in recognizing
an input signal.
When [WXGA MODE] is set to [ON], XGA (1024 × 768)/UXGA (1600 × 1200) signals may not be
recognized. In this case, select [OFF].
