Removing an installed SO-DIMM
7. Reassemble the system as follows:
Reseat the memory module bay cover in its original position.
Replace and tighten the coin screws.
Switch Settings
A four-position dip switch is located underneath the keyboard.
(Instructions for accessing the switches follow the section that explains
updating the BIOS.) The following lists identifies each switch setting
and its function.
Switch 1, Password Override Switch — The default setting is “OFF.”
For example, if you forget your password and cannot access the data
on your NEC Versa, change the setting to “ON” and your current
password dissolves.
Switch 2 — Keyboard type; default is “ON” for 85 key US.
Switch 3 — Reserved for factory use.
