Switch 4 — HDD search wait inhibit mode; default is “OFF.”
Changing Switch Settings
Use the following steps to change switch settings.
1. Make sure the system is powered off and that no peripheral devices
are attached.
2. Locate and remove the rubber cap and the Phillips-head screw on the
upper left hand corner of the keyboard cover of the NEC Versa.

3. Press down using slight pressure on the right hand side of the
keyboard retainer and slide to the left.
