Startup Screen Navigation
When the HT70 is turned On, the ventilator will go through a short
self-test and the Startup screen will appear. Confirm that the alarm
sounds and the LEDS light during this short self-test.
Prior To Ventilation:
To set the parameters: All parameter settings can be adjusted prior
to starting ventilation as well as during ventilation. Use the Touch-
Adjust-Accept method to make setting changes.
Some parameters are not active in some modes or breath types.
These parameters are shown in faded/light gray text. They can be
changed while inactive.
Circuit Check: Perform a Circuit Check each time the breathing
circuit or exhalation valve is replaced. Touch the Circuit Check button
and follow the instructions on the screen. The Circuit Check is not
available during ventilation.
Activate Preset: The Activate Preset button allows you to select
from pre-programmed parameter sets for Adult, Pediatric and Infant
patients. The Activate Preset screen also allows the user to reset the
Events History log when setting up on a new patient. When Reset
Event History is touched a “New Patient” entry will appear in the
Event History log. Activate Preset is not available during ventilation.
