Dealing with malfunctions

Cause: Incorrect setting of Curve slope and/or
Offset heating curve
Action: Adjust the setting.
Cause: Large amounts of hot water were used.
Action: Wait until the water heater reheats.
Cause: Compressor and/or immersion heater does
not heat up.
Action: Check and replace blown circuit and main
fuses.
Cause: Too low start temperature setting on the
control system
.
Action: Adjust the start temperature setting, in
menu 1.4
Cause: Possible earth circuit-breaker tripped.
Action: Reset the earth circuit-breaker, if the earth
circuit-breaker trips repeatedly, call an
electrician.
Cause: Compressor and electric module do not
heat.
Action: Check and replace blown circuit and main
fuses.
Cause: The compressor does not run because of a
too low set value on the heating curve.
Action: Check and possibly raise the Offset heating
curve (knob on the front panel) or Curve
slope.
Cause: The compressor standstills due to the
internal overheating protection tripping.
Action: Automatic resetting after cooling for a few
hours.
Cause: Possible earth circuit-breaker tripped.
Action: Reset the earth circuit-breaker, if the earth
circuit-breaker trips repeatedly, call an
electrician.
Low hot water temperature or
no hot water
In the event of malfunction or operating
disturbances first check the points
below:
High room temperature
Low room
temperature
If the operating disturbance cannot be rectified by means of the above,
installation engineer should be called.
Max condensor flow temp
This information is displayed when the flow tempera-
ture between the condensor and immersion heater
reaches 65 °C or more.

HIGH RETURN TEMP.

High return temp.
This information is shown when the return sensor on
the heating medium measures a higher value than
that set in menu 2.7. or higher than 58 °C on the
return pipe when hot water charging.
The following alarms are automatically reset when the
temperature has increased/reduced by 2 °C
High hotgas
This information is displayed when hot gas in the heat
pump exceeds 135°C.
This may be due to:
■ Defective/incorrect setting on the expansion valve
The alarm is reset when the temperature drops below
90 °C. Becomes continuous after three repetitions
within 240 minutes.
