Options Available for the 4000 ED
SA-30 Adapter for Film Rolls
The SA-30 can be used with the scanner installed vertically to scan strip film or film rolls of two to forty
frames.
Options for use with the 4000 ED can not be used with the COOLSCAN IV ED.

SF-200 (S)
SF-200 (S) Slide Feeder
The SF-200 (S) can be used with the scanner installed horizontally for automated sequential scanning of
mounted 35 mm slides 1.0–3.2 mm thick and 49.0–50.8 mm across (feeder can hold approximately
fifty slides 1.5 mm in thickness). The SF-200 (S) comes with an attachment for scanning thick mounts
with rounded edges (the attachment utility provided with Nikon Scan is required when installing and
removing the attachment; the attachment should not be used when scanning slides with mounts 2 mm
or less in thickness, as this could cause slides to jam in the adapter).
