About This Section
These appendices are for users of the 4000 ED (SUPER COOLSCAN 4000 ED). Appendix A de-
scribes how to install the IEEE 1394/Firewire interface board provided with your scanner. Appendix B
provides instructions for installing the IEEE 1394 update for Windows 98 Second Edition included on
the Nikon Scan CD.
