2 Selecting Filter Block
Press the EPI-FILTER key to select a filter block.
Each EPI-FILTER key corresponds to one of the filter
blocks; you can select a filter block by simply pressing the
key corresponding to the block.
Screen indication:
(1) The name of the filter block in the optical path is
indicated.
(2) The excitation method of the filter block is indicated.
If the filter block is in the optical path, the excitation
method is highlighted.
If no filter block is attached, “---------“ is indicated. If
a registered filter block is attached, “O” (= Other) is
indicated.
(3) The wavelengths of the excitation filter, dichroic
mirror, and barrier filter, which make up the filter
block, are indicated.
LED INDICATION:
(4) The LED of the EPI-FILTER key corresponding to
the filter block in the optical path is lit green.

Note:
If the filter block changeover is not connected, the filter block information will not be indicated on the LCD and the
LED of EPI-FILTER key will not light up.
