3 Restricting Rotation of Revolving Nosepiece
You can restrict the rotation of the revolving nosepiece with the OBJECTIVE key, so that the revolving nosepiece
will not turn from the set z-axis position and upward. The upper limit setting is effective for all the addresses of the
revolving nosepiece.
(1) Set Rotation Restriction

Press the MODE key, and the SETTING MENU screen will
appear on the LCD.
Select “More” using the
S key or the T key and then
press the [
] key.

Select “Rotation Stopper” using the S key or the T key
and then press the [
] key.

Move the z-axis position to the position to restrict the
revolving nosepiece rotation (the position at which you
want the revolving nosepiece to stop turning).

Move the cursor to “ON” using the W key or the X key
and then press the [
] key.
ROTATION STOPPER
Current setting:OFF
ON      OFF

A confirmation message appears.
Press the [
] key.
To cancel, move the cursor to “NO” using the
W key or the
X key and then press the [
] key.
ROTATION STOPPER

When the setting is accepted, the “Complete!” message
appears and remains displayed for about one second.

Press the MODE key to end the setting and to return to the
OPERATION screen.
