Repair
Checking for
Leaks
Restarting
the System
1. Restore
electrical
power
to the applicator
2. Turn on the applicator circuit breaker.
3.
Let
the applicator and hose reach operating
temperature.
4. Check
for
low-pressure
leaks between the hose fitting and the
gun
fitting.
5. On
gear-pump
units,
increase
motor speed to normal operating speed
and check for leaks. On all other units, slowly restore air
pressure
to
the
applicator to 0.28 MPa
(40 psi)
and check for leaks.
6. Tighten fittings as necessary.
1. Follow the startup
procedures
in
your
applicator
product
manual
2. Trigger
the
gun
until clean adhesive flows.
3.
Resume
normaloperation.
