CAUTION: The Nordson

compatible with similar components of other brands; therefore,
to
prevent
a
possible
hazard when replacing an existing
non-Nordson handgun
with
any Nordson RTD handgun,
you
will
need
to obtain and
install
a
cordset

kit. See
your

representative. Possible hazards include runaway
temperature and failure to obtain an adequate
ground.
Replacing an existing handgun
with
a new one involves five operations:

and
purging
the hose
.
removing the old handgun
o
installing
the replacement
gun
o
checking for leaks
o
restarting
the system
Procedures for each of the above operations follow.
Use
this
general procedure
to
relieve hydraulic
pressure.
For the most

can result in hot adhesive spraying from a connecting

system,
you
must
first relieve
system
pressure.
