What to do if my Nordson Paint Sprayer applicator fails to trigger?
    • V
      Victoria PatelAug 6, 2025
If your Nordson Paint Sprayer applicator fails to trigger, there are several potential causes. First, check the electrical connections to ensure they are secure. If the connections are good, the seat retainer nut might be too tight; loosen it and retighten to 10-12 ft-lb (14-16 N?m). A bad solenoid coil could also be the issue; disconnect the applicator wiring and check the coil resistance with an ohmmeter (it should read about 2 ohms, replace the coil if the resistance check fails). Check the fuse. If the fuse is blown, a lamp on the fuse holder will flash as the gun is triggered. Remove the fuse and check it with an ohmmeter. Replace the fuse if blown. Finally, a bad gun module can cause this problem, in that case you should replace the gun module.

Why is fluid leaking around the nozzle nut of my Nordson MEG II Paint Sprayer?
    • J
      Jeffrey DuranAug 11, 2025
If fluid is leaking around the nozzle nut of your Nordson Paint Sprayer, it could be due to a damaged or worn O-ring. Replace the nozzle nut and nozzle, and also replace the O-ring in the seat face. Another possible cause is a loose nozzle nut; tighten it to 10-12 ft-lb (14-16 N?m).
