(page 17).The shut-off valve should be readily
accessible for service and/or emergency use.

requirementsregardingplacementofthemanual
maingasshut-off.
• Gaspipingmustneverruninorthroughairducts,
chimneys,gasvents,orelevatorshafts.
• Compoundsusedonthreadedjointsofgaspiping

connectingthegassupply,provideclearancebetweenthe
gassupplylineandtheentryholeinthefurnacecasing
toavoidunwantednoiseand/ordamagetothefurnace.
