LOADING ADDITIONAL SOUNDS
Additional sound banks are available on our web site http://www.novationuk.com. To install the new sounds follow the procedure
below. This is actually very similar to upgrading the OS in your Nova.
1 - Download the Midi file of the Sounds for the Nova.
2 - Connect the MIDI out of the sequencer to the MIDI in of the Nova.
3 - Turn the Memory Protect OFF ( in page 7 of the Global mode ) & make sure your Nova is set to
Global MIDI channel 1 ( page 1 of the Global mode ).
4 - Load the Midi file into your sequencer.
5 - Play the sequence ( The display will show the status of incoming messages ).
If you experience problems with this file, it is probably due to similar problems that can occur when updating the OS. Please Refer
to page 115 “Upgrading the Operating System”.
