2.4 Disconnecting the Rear Wheel
1. Shift to a position that allows easy access
to the shift cable hardware.
2. Remove shift cable hardware following
steps and .
3. Loosen and/or remove the axle nuts (A)
and the no-turn washers (B) on both sides.
- For rim or roller brake applications,
disconnect the rear brake according to the
manufacturer’s instructions.
4. Remove the rear wheel.
