User authentication

Authentication in print mode

When using the printer driver, set the authentication code to the
authentication sheet of the printer driver and print.
When the parameter used to authenticate the user during print authentication is set to
the default value Use PC Login Name, it is not necessary to congure the printer driver
Authentication sheet.

When the parameter used to authenticate the user during print authentication is set Use
PrinterDriver Setting, you need to set your own authentication code in the printer driver
Authentication sheet.
Print data received by the Printer will not be printed and will remain in the Printer until the
authentication code is entered.

Read the smart card with the card
reader.
With smart card authentication, users are
authenticated on the Ready screen when they
read their smart card with the card reader.
After successful authentication, the
