paper feed section is
indicated during
copying (no paper
feed from the drawer
2).
Jam code 12
Paper in the first paper
feeder is extremely curled.
Change the paper.
Check if the paper feed pul-
ley, separation pulley or for-
ward pulley in the first paper
feeder is deformed.
Check visually and replace any deformed pulley.
Broken registration switch
actuator.
Check visually and replace registration switch if its actuator is bro-
ken.
Defective registration
switch.
Run maintenance item U031 and turn registration switch on and
off manually. Replace registration switch if indication of switch is
not light.
Check if the drawer paper
feed clutch 1 malfunctions.
Run maintenance item U032 and select the drawer paper feed
clutch 1 to be turned on and off. Check the status and remedy if
necessary.
Electrical problem with the
drawer paper feed clutch 1.
Check.

clutch 2 to be turned on and off. Check the status and remedy if
