■ Split (partial) payment
A sum for payment can be paid for in several part payments. It is possible to use
different types of payment for each part.
Note:
Split payments can be made using checks, credit-cards and cash. Payments made
using a check or credit-card are identified on receipts, journals and reports by „CK“.
Example:
A customer wishes to split a total sales sum of £1540.50 into two part payments of
£1000.00 (credit-card) and £600.00 (cash).
Enter the part of the sum to be paid by credit-card
The part amount is deducted from the total sum,
the outstanding amount is shown in the display.
Enter the amount to be paid in cash
The part amount is deducted from the remaining sum,
the change due is displayed
