5 Check that the stereo optical adapter is securely attached, select
“OK”, and then press the [MEAS/ENTER] joystick.
See “Attaching the stereo optical adapter” (page 104) for the attachment
procedure.
CAUTION
• If the stereo optical adapter is not installed properly, it will not be possible to get correct
measurement results.
6 Adjust the brightness of a white image.
Use the check tool provided with the stereo measurement set to capture a white
image.
The orientation of the insertion tube in the white indented part is different
depending on whether the optical adapter is a direct view type or side view type.
• For forward-view optical adapter
Insert the distal end of the insertion tube into the forward-view guide directly
oriented towards the protrusion in the white indented part.
