Using as PC camera
On a PC running Windows XP, Windows Vista,
or Windows 7, you can use the recorder as a PC
camera.
To Use the Recorder as a PC Camera
1 In the recorder's [USB Settings], set
[USB Class] into [PC Camera] (☞ P.84).
2 Co
nnect the recorder to your PC
(☞ P.90).
• The live image is displayed on the main LCD
of the recorder during PC camera operation.
•
Use the + or – button of the recorder for
zooming during PC camera operation.

Notes
• I
t’s possible to shoot and share only movie files.
Voice files cannot be shared.

When you use the recorder as a PC camera, the
camera can shoot 30 frames per second but
the actual number of frames may be inferior
depending on the connection and/or the PC
processing speed.
