The following table describes the states of the CP Strobe Warning Lamp.

State Description Operating condition
On or Flashing Outputs of the test system may carry
dangerous voltages and currents.
DO NOT enter the high-voltage test area.
Dangerous operating
condition
Off Outputs of the test system are disabled.
KEEP FOLLOWING the five safety rules
because voltage might be still present on the
test object.
Safe operating condition
LAMP
A flashing LED indicates that dangerous voltages are
active at the test system’s outputs
MAGNET
Magnetized bottom for secure
placing of the CP Strobe Warning Lamp on metallic, well-visible objects
CONNECTOR
Input for connecting to the test system
SAFETY output connector
Strobe connector
Main device connector
