29 OMICRON
5.4 Testing
WARNING
Death or severe injury caused by high voltage or current possible.
Do not connect the main device to the asset under test.
When conducting a functional check for the SAA2, set the lowest possible current
or voltage value on the main devices.
1. Connect the SAA2 signal lamp to the main device as described in 5.3 Connection.
2. Push the Emergency Stop button on a signal lamp.
Then all signal lamps should flash green.

3. Put the main device into safe operating condition and try to start the main device with the pressed
Emergency Stop button. The test system should NOT start.
WARNING
Death or severe injury caused by high voltage or current possible.
Ensure that no personnel are in the working area.
4. Release the Emergency Stop button and start the main device. Then the signal lamps should
change from green to red.
WARNING
Death or severe injury caused by high voltage or current possible.
Contact OMICRON technical support if you observe any other behavior
than described in this section.
