(3) The deceleration time is short
for the load’s moment of inertia.
Recalculate the deceleration tor-
que based on the load’s moment
of inertia and deceleration time.
→ Increase the values of
1st
Deceleration Time 1 (3004-09
hex), 2nd Deceleration Time 1
(3005-0C hex), 1st Deceleration
Time 2 (3005-0E hex), and 2nd
Deceleration Time 2 (3005-10
hex).
→ Enable the function of Anti-
regenerative control Mode
selection (3008-46 hex) or
Deceleration characteristics
(3008-48 hex).
→ Enable the functions of
Torque Limit 1 (Four-quadrant
Mode Forward Power Running)
(3004-29 hex), Torque Limit 2
(Four-quadrant Mode Reverse
Regeneration) (3004-2A hex),
Torque Limit 3 (Four-quadrant
Mode Reverse Power Running)
(3005-11 hex), and Torque Limit
4 (Four-quadrant Mode
Forward Regeneration)
(3005-12 hex).
→ Set the value of 1st rated
voltage at base frequency
(3004-06 hex) to 0 to improve the
braking performance.
→ Consider using a braking re-
sistor.
Set an appropriate deceleration
time for the load’s moment of in-
ertia.
(4) The acceleration time is
short.
Check if an overvoltage alarm
occurs at the end of quick accel-
eration.
→ Increase the values of 1st
Acceleration Time 1
(3004-08
hex), 2nd Acceleration Time 1
(3005-0B hex), 1st Acceleration
Time 2 (3005-0D hex), and 2nd
Acceleration Time 2 (3005-0F
hex).
→ Use Acceleration/
Deceleration Pattern Selection
(3008-08 hex).
→ Consider using a braking re-
sistor.
Set the acceleration/deceleration
time as long as possible to re-
duce the load. Or set a longer
stop time to reduce the load.
